Buffalo Wild Wings in Mount Vernon Donates Opening Day Food Sales to Food for the Hungry
MT VERNON, OHIO, February 11, 2013: Buffalo Wild Wings®, winner of scores of best wings and best sports bar awards, is opened its newest location in Mount Vernon at Coshocton Avenue on Monday, December 17, 2012. Ten percent of the opening day food sales were donated to Food for the Hungry of Knox County, which totaled $1,844.00.
“We take our commitment to the local community very seriously,” said Larry Tipton, Buffalo Wild Wings franchise owner.
“We were thrilled when Buffalo Wild Wings® decided to become a partner,” said Joe Rinehart, Board President of Food for the Hungry. “It takes a whole community and Buffalo Wild Wings® is a part of that. The donation translates to making a difference in people’s lives.”
“Food for the Hungry is happy to provide services to get people back on their feet. Food for the Hungry was able to collect $198,248, with Buffalo Wild Wings® donation included in that total,” said Sandy Rhoton, Drive Coordinator of Food for the Hungry.
The Mount Vernon BUFFALO WILD WINGS is located at 907 Coshocton Avenue. It is open 10:30 AM-12 am Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 AM to 1 am Friday through Saturday.
