Columbus, OHIO – On Saturday, June 13, 2015, Buffalo Wild Wings’ franchise group, Lancaster Wings, Inc., which operates several Ohio locations, invites customers to take part in a charitable effort by dining in their restaurants. These select Buffalo Wild Wings locations will donate 10% of all food sales from the Eat Wings Raise Funds event on June 13th to the American Red Cross in support of Disaster Relief.
Today, the Red Cross is responding to severe weather and flooding in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. But every day, the American Red Cross is responding to disasters and emergencies in communities across the country. Donations to Disaster Relief will be used to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from disasters big and small.
“Life can change in an instant, sometimes leaving people with nothing – without a home, without their belongings, without hope,” said Matt Bertram, Chief Executive Officer, Ohio Buckeye Region. “The Red Cross will be there to provide immediate relief. This is a fun way for the community to come together and support our mission.”
Lancaster Wings Inc. recognizes the importance of philanthropy, offering an array of opportunities for customers to participate in positive impact efforts. The Eat Wings Raise Funds event allows local communities to donate to commendable causes, in an easy and convenient way.
“We are truly excited to contribute to the Red Cross’ Disaster Relief initiative,” said Larry Tipton, president of Lancaster Wings Inc. “The opportunity to partner with this impactful organization is ideal and we are proud to participate in such meaningful work.”
Participating locations include: Lancaster, Athens, Canal Winchester, Taylor Square (Reynoldsburg), Heath, New Philadelphia and Mt. Vernon. More information about Lancaster Wings, Inc. is available at www.lancasterwings.com
